I’m Nicolas Blard, an award-winning director and proud member of the Academy of Cinema Arts and Techniques, "Les Césars." With over 25 years of international experience in animation, I’ve contributed to iconic series like Rugrats, Oggy and the Cockroaches, and Disney’s Chip 'n' Dale, and have worked on high-impact feature films, VR experiences, and AAA video games for major players such as Microsoft and Pixar. My work spans more than 30 TV shows, covering roles like director, creative director, lead animator, and storyboard artist.
My expertise extends across both content and form. On the content side, I work as a copywriter, head of curriculum, and academic director for various prestigious art schools, guiding creative development and educational strategies. On the form side, I serve as an art director and creative manager, leading artistic teams of up to 200 multicultural artists. I also bring senior expertise in project management and the entire production pipeline, including live events, editorial work, and outsourced animation.
